The Congressional oversight panel has released a collection of approximately 70 images from the estate of deceased found guilty sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

This marks the latest in a series of publication from a cache of in excess of 95,000 photographs the committee has obtained from Epstein's estate. It includes images of quotes from the novel Lolita written across a woman's body, and censored photos of women's foreign passports.

This disclosure occurs mere hours before the 19 December deadline for the Justice Department to make public every documents associated with its inquiry into Epstein.

"These latest images bring up further queries about exactly what the Justice Department has in its custody," stated the ranking member of the committee, Robert Garcia.

What is in the Photographs Released

A number of the photos published on Thursday depict Epstein in discussion with academic and activist Noam Chomsky inside a personal aircraft; Bill Gates standing next to a female whose features is obscured; Steve Bannon positioned at a table across from Epstein, and former Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a dinner gathering.

These are the most recent wealthy, powerful men to be seen in Epstein property photographs disclosed by the House Oversight Committee - earlier disclosed images also show US President Donald Trump and ex-president Bill Clinton, as well as movie director Woody Allen, former US Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, attorney Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and others.

Showing up in the photographs is not proof of any wrongdoing, and a number of the pictured men have said they were not implicated in Epstein's criminal activity.

In a announcement accompanying the photograph release, Lawmakers on the US House Oversight Committee noted the Epstein property holders did not supply background information or timings for the photographs.

"Photographs were selected to provide the general populace with clarity into a illustrative selection of the photos obtained from the property, and to give perspectives into Epstein's network and his extremely alarming actions," the announcement states.

The disclosure also includes a number of photos of passages from the Vladimir Nabokov book Lolita written in dark ink across different parts of a woman's body, including her chest, lower extremity, pelvis, and rear. Lolita recounts the story of a adolescent who was groomed by a adult literature professor.

One quote from the book scrawled across a woman's chest states, "Lolita's name: the end of the tongue traveling of three steps down the palate to alight, at three, on the teeth".

Additionally, there are a number of photos of female identification and identification documents from states globally, like Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

The majority of the details on the papers, like names and birth dates, is censored but the committee stated in a press release that the travel documents are associated with "females whom Jeffrey Epstein and his associates were engaging".

A further photograph depicts Epstein sitting at a desk intimately surrounded by three women whose faces have been censored - one individual has her hand on Epstein's upper body under his shirt, and another individual is crouching to examine a adjacent device. Epstein seems to be aiding the third put on a piece of jewelry.

A further photo disclosed is a capture of digital messages from an unidentified person who claims they have been sent "a number of girls" and are requesting "$1000 for each individual".

Photo Disclosure Arrives Prior to DOJ Due Date

The panel has a vast number of photos in its holdings from the Epstein property, which are "at once graphic and mundane," its statement on this week clarified.

The oversight panel first subpoenaed the property of Epstein, who was found dead in a New York jail in 2019 while awaiting trial on allegations of sex trafficking, in August.

The photos and documents the Epstein property provided to the committee are distinct from what is commonly termed "Epstein-related records". Those files are papers under the DOJ's custody connected to its independent inquiry into Epstein.

In accordance with the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which Donald Trump enacted in November, the DOJ has a deadline of 19 December to disclose its files. The scope of the contents included in the DOJ's documents is unclear, and it's expected that a large amount of the information will be significantly redacted, similar to the committee's documents
