Los Angeles Explodes in Celebration as Dodgers Secure Back-to-Back World Series Victory
Los Angeles witnessed widespread celebrations after the Los Angeles Dodgers won a thrilling seven-match World Series championship. Supporters across the globe joined local residents in celebration, marking the first time in 25 years that a team has achieved back-to-back championships.
Victory Parade Draws Enormous Crowds
Los Angeles area celebrations featured a downtown parade on the morning of the parade, a ticketed rally at Dodger Stadium, and spontaneous parties throughout the city.
Social media videos show countless of Los Angeles residents packing city center avenues, many carrying homemade signs and Dodger flags. The team was seen traveling proudly on a double-decker bus through the masses, raising the Commissioner’s trophy proudly.

The championship served as a positive moment in what has been a trying year for the city. An estimated 225,000 people showed up to the championship parade last year, and according to Dodgers player one athlete, fans this year demonstrated as much if not more support.
