The British driver Lando Norris Wins First F1 World Championship in Yas Marina Despite Max Verstappen's Grand Prix Triumph.

He has done a remarkable job to persist with his task, keeping his composure and belief during periods under pressure. After losing the lead to Piastri after Saudi Arabia, he nonetheless worked at maximising the car's potential.

The Decisive Grand Prix

The incident was looked at by the race officials, with several impossibly tense laps passing before a time penalty for his rival and exoneration for Norris settled the matter. This bold move unimpeded was crucial to his championship bid.

Contrasting Fates

As Norris was crowned the first British driver to win the title since Lewis Hamilton in 2020, the difference in form between the two was pronounced. While the new generation fought for the title, Hamilton, the grand champion, could only finish eighth place in Abu Dhabi, a dismal ending to a difficult season with Ferrari.

His first season with the Scuderia had been greeted with excitement but has yielded what was easily his worst season ever, ending up sixth in the championship and failing to secure a podium. He has looked weary in the final rounds and will aim to rebuild over the off-season.
