From the one-by-one reveal of fresh additions before the title's launch, to trainers forming strong views on the entire lineup of Mega Evolutions, there's plenty for enthusiasts to look forward to.

With numerous of the Super Forms boasting distinctive appearances that emphasize their traits, one idea came to mind: What's the best way to connect this with astrology? This list is based on a blend of vibes, sign stereotypes, and individual observations.

Aries – Mega Camerupt

Honestly, Houndour's evolution was nearly chosen for this fire sign, as both are the Mega Pokémon and astrological sign that evoke the most fear. The zodiac symbol known for being charmingly critical is clearly mirrored throughout this creature's whole evolutionary chain, from a perpetually surprised face like a Maiden when you tell them you lack a 401(k), to its upside-down face that’s similar to the emoji a Virgo posts to the group chat when everyone says they want to “be spontaneous” instead of making a strategy.

Libra – Super Audino

Look at this gentle, empathetic being, who employs the sensors on its auditory organs to tell how others are emotionally by their pulse. Always compassionate – sometimes to a detriment – and trying to keep the harmony, there are many Libras who would likely appreciate Super Audino's abilities. However, let’s be honest, it would probably just cause them to stress even more about others.

The Scorpion – Super Banette

Banette is a Pokémon with a unexpectedly tragic backstory: Discarded as a doll, it gained sentient through pure resentment and vowed retribution on its previous caretaker. Per the official info, Super Evolution, “increases its spitefulness.” That seems precisely like many conversations I’ve had with my intense Scorpio acquaintances. A Scorpion adores cosmic justice and comeuppance, making them the perfect pair with Super Banette.

Each Mega Hawlucha and Archers are constantly putting on a performance. Being a Sagittarius personally, the amount of times I’ve called myself some version of a “playful small jester” is countless. The showiest and most attention-seeking Super Form, its Pokédex entry even mentions how it “flexes to display its power.” I would do the exact same thing if I had some kind of Mega evolved form, making Super Hawlucha the most fitting Sagittarius counterpart I can imagine.

The Goat – Super Absol

Were you aware that a Super Absol has the power to predict disasters ahead of time? That exudes the exact same energy as a Goat, who often consistently believe they’re correct. The thing is, similar to a prophetic Mega Absol, they often are.
